Men's Ministry

 Men's Ministry provides opportunity for fellowship,camaraderie and spiritual development for each man. Throughout the year, the Men's Ministry promotes and attends several conferences such as Promise Keepers, Men at the Cross and many more. Local activity and fellowship opportunities are given on a monthly basis. Join us as men who stand up for Christ and proclaim his word

 UNITY: How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron's head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Psalms 133:1-2

  News

 Men's Fellowship Breakfast! Come and have a great breakfast and a good time of fellowship! Our Men will be meeting for a Fellowship Breakfast on Saturday, March 6th at 8 AM and the location is at the Family Restaurant on Highway 27 south. See you there!

  Men's Bible Study, Men come and join us on the first Monday of each month, March 1st, from 7:00-8:00 PM for our “Men At The Cross” Bible Study! Please bring your study books for this class will be studying Understanding God’s Plan on pages 59 thru 62. Study books are available through Bill Dwinell.

 The Barnabas Project Beginning on March 8th we will be holding our first session of the Barnabas Project, a DVD series to help men be a Paul to their Timothy, as we are instructed with the Great Commission. Initially we will meet the second Monday of each month and watch one of 24 DVD sessions. Additionally we will cover scriptures related to the session and discuss how to apply the material in real life. The Barnabas Project is primarily aimed at men who attended Men At The Cross Conference and have or are studying the “One2Won Cross training” book, but any man who wants to fulfill the Great Commission and become a mentor/father to other men, young or old, are welcome. Or sessions will begin at 7:00 PM and last as long as the discussions are productive. If you are interested in participating please contact Bill Dwinell at 485-6913. Our first session will be "Qualified by God" with Joe White and Max Lacado.

MEN OF PROMISE Meeting:  Please join us for our Men of Promise on March 15th. Fellowship and spaghetti dinner. Begins at 6 PM with worship at 7 PM here at First Assembly.  

Our guest speaker will be Rev. Dale Schlafer. Everyone is invited!
